2nd Shooter:

Cover all the angles.

My 2nd shooters are all accomplished photographers in their own right and in many ways these talented individuals have more creative freedom than I do. As the primary photographer, my main focus is always on the bride and groom, but the 2nd shooter is free to move about and get all those “in-between shots” -they capture the fleeting moments and emotions of your family, friends and guests.

They add another dimension to a couple’s wedding story. They add that extra bit of “just in case” safety margin (pros’ have back-up gear –why not a back-up photographer?). And it allows me to be 2 places at once (ie. those getting ready shots at the bride’s house and at the groom’s house).

So are there any downsides with having a 2nd shooter?

-Actually yes. If you’re planning a small intimate wedding, (less than100 guests) having multiple photographers could become intrusive.

Engagement Shoot & Guest Book:

An engagement photo shoot doesn’t have to be your typical posed portraits in a park. Weddings are often formal and structured events so this is a chance to be fun and creative and show another side of yourselves before your big day. It also gives us a chance to get to know each other and for you to get more comfortable around a camera. Shots can be anything from hanging out at your favorite coffee shop to riding bumper cars and escaping zombies. We develop a concept together and then we bring it to life!

And after the photo shoot we create custom photo guest book for your wedding guests to sign.
